Taylor 326e Baritone-8 LTD Blackwood 8 String Acoustic

This is a rare, like new Taylor 326e Baritone-8 LTD (2017) that still has the plastic on the pickguard! Please note that this limited edition 8-string version shares the same name as the currently available 326e 6-string version, which is much less expensive. Very few of the Baritone 8’s come up on eBay or Reverb very often. And almost never in like new condition. I’d like to note that the case is original and in great condition. The guitar has sat in climate controlled storage ever since I purchased it.

If you’re looking for an unusual sounding guitar this Taylor 8-string baritone opens the door to a fantastic new tonal palette. It offers a husky lower-register voicing (it’s tuned from B to B) with a touch of octave sparkle on doubled middle strings.

This limited edition Baritone features a bold Grand Symphony voice, with a wood pairing of a Tropical Mahogany top and neck with Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. Both woods have dry tonal properties with a strong fundamental response that suits the Baritone 8. With a baritone’s lower fundamental notes, the high-pitch overtone series can interfere with other notes, so dry-sounding woods tend to be preferred.

The guitar features the standard 300 Series appointments with a satin finish and a shaded edgeburst around the dark Mahogany top. It also has the Taylor ES2 electronics system with 2-band EQ that helps to give your sound more focus and power.

This is a very fun and unique sounding guitar! And they’re pretty scarce!

These videos feature a Taylor 320e Baritone guitar, but they show you a completely different concept of sound you can get out of a Taylor Baritone.
