Gretsch Vintage Select Duo Jet ’62 (2019)

This is a Gretsch Vintage Select Duo Jet ’62. Made in 2019, the guitar is in excellent condition with no noticeable damage. The original Duo Jet Firebird is probably most famously associated with Malcolm Young in the early 70s when he was hammering out power chords for AC/DC. But it was also played by Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, and George Harrison, among others.

The specs on this guitar are true 1962, from the aged binding and thumbnail fretboard inlays to the TV Jones Classic Filter’Tron pickups, and a period-correct Treble Bleed circuit with Squeezebox PIO capacitors. The guitar also has a Space Control bridge with a pinned ebony base to help with intonation, and a gold Bigsby tailpiece for adding in vibrato.

This is a top-shelf professional guitar that comes with a hardshell case.
