Eastwood Deerhoof EEC (2019) + Eastwood Hardshell Case

Strange yet elegant, the EEG has a look like no other guitar. It is a tribute to the vintage AMPEG AEB model from the late 1960’s. The F-holes are cut completely through the body for an unusual see-through look.

The guitar features a Basswood body with a bolt-on neck with bound fingerboard. Its stacked P90 p-ups w/coil-splitting, high and low roll-offs and phase switch, as well as an onboard high-pass filter make it sonically versatile. And, yes, it sounds like the San Francisco band, Deerhoof!

The tone controls are push/pull, and feature a bass roll off. The treble pot pulls out to switch the pickups to single coils, and the bass rolloff pulls out to a phase flip, kind of a half cocked wah sound, which I really love. The neck is nice and beefy without feeling too chunky. No V, but also not too flat.

This is a great playing guitar! I really love having an onboard high-pass switch in a guitar, especially one that is so musically configured. Plus, the phase switch allows for some really unique sounds.
