This electro-acoustic grand auditorium guitar has a clear and balanced tone with an articulate voicing. When you first look at the Alvarez the most notable feature is the comfortable beveled armrest, which is not commonly found on guitars at this price point. Premium tone woods are used: An A+ Sitka Spruce solid top, Walnut back and side, a mahogany neck and a Rosewood/Pau Ferro fingerboard with inlays of Abalone and Mother of Pearl.The guitar also features a real bone nut and saddle.

Additional premium features include an EQLR Baggs Stage Pro EQ and Element Pick Up, an FST2 Bracing architecture that is specifically designed for this body shape, and a Bi-level bridge that is used to heighten string tension and improve sustain and response.

This is a lot of guitar at a modest price.
